Our Commitment to Web Accessibility

Target Evolution Inc.
Teen Biz® and Teen Biz Box®

Target Evolution Inc. is committed to ensuring that our website, online programs, and digital resources are accessible to people of all abilities. Our mission is to empower youth ages 8–18 through entrepreneurship, and this commitment includes creating an inclusive, equitable, and supportive online environment for all visitors—regardless of physical, cognitive, sensory, or technological limitations.

We believe every individual deserves full and equal access to information, opportunities, and educational tools. As part of this commitment:

1. Our Accessibility Commitment

We strive to:

  • meet or exceed widely recognized accessibility standards, including WCAG 2.1 Level AA guidelines whenever feasible,

  • provide content that is perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust across a wide range of devices and assistive technologies,

  • continuously improve accessibility as our website evolves,

  • ensure that youth, families, educators, sponsors, and supporters of all abilities can engage with our mission.

2. Efforts Taken to Support Accessibility

To promote accessibility on our website and digital platforms, we:

  • design pages with clear structure, logical navigation, and consistent layouts,

  • use headings, alt text for images, descriptive link labels, and readable font contrasts,

  • aim to ensure compatibility with screen readers, magnification tools, voice recognition software, and keyboard-only navigation,

  • integrate accessibility-friendly features within our Wix.com website hosting environment,

  • regularly evaluate our website with internal reviews to identify and address areas for improvement,

  • provide alternative formats for Teen Biz Box® learning materials upon request whenever practical.

3. Known Limitations

While we work to achieve a high level of accessibility, some content may not yet meet all standards due to:

  • third-party plugins or embedded tools not fully controlled by Target Evolution Inc.,

  • legacy content or media currently being updated,

  • resource limitations typical of small nonprofit organizations.

We welcome feedback to help us improve and prioritize solutions.

4. Ongoing Improvements

Accessibility is an ongoing priority. Target Evolution Inc. is committed to:

  • periodically reviewing the website for accessibility issues,

  • updating content and features as technology evolves,

  • incorporating accessibility best practices into future website updates, curriculum tools, and Teen Biz digital experiences,

  • training internal team members on accessibility guidelines and considerations.

5. Accessibility Support & Contact Information

If you encounter any accessibility barriers on our website, digital materials, or online tools—or if you have questions about our accessibility practices—please contact us. We take all feedback seriously and will make reasonable efforts to assist you.
