Kelsie Patterson is a teen entrepreneur who set up her pop-up shop at Market by Macy’s on August 14th. Kelsie’s product is Kerushi, a custom embroidery & clothing service inspired by her love for fashion and passion for creating clothing and helping others express themselves. What product did you sell?
“I sell custom embroidery and print t-shirts.”
What inspired you to make that product?
“What inspired me was I absolutely love fashion and I have a passion for creating clothing and making others happy with my creations.”
What was the experience [the pop-up shop] like?
“The experience was challenging at times but satisfying because people walked away happy with their purchases.”
What would you say you learned the most about from the experience?
“Always find ways to make your setup pop and stand out.”
Who was your biggest supporter in your business?
“My parents and my grandparents.”
How did you balance running a business with schoolwork?
“Setting time aside for working on my business and having designated hours separating school and business.”
