Secure Your Seat in Teen Biz Camp Today!
One of the things we emphasize here at Target Evolution when it comes to both starting and maintaining a business is the importance of networking as it can lead to many wonderful opportunities to allow it to grow leading to many unqiue opportunities. With that being said, we are happy to announce our newest collaborative program for your child: Teen Biz Kitchen!
This thrilling new project will be overseen by Target’s Evolution founder Crystal Victoria alongside Robert Morris (a restaurant owner based in Dallas with extensive experience leading and managing luxury restaurant concepts) and Linda Henderson. In the former’s own words about working with Henderson and Morris:
“I am so excited to work with my dear friend of many years and his team of Chefs and Cooks to make our new restaurant venture for kids and teens an incredible success! Team building is one of my favorite things, I'm blessed to have built some RockStar teams over the years. My network is nothing short of amazing! I teach every kid in Teen Biz Camp that your network EQUALS your net worth. Surround yourself with smart people who fit where you plan to go in life. I'm so grateful that I learned that lesson.”
The Teen Biz Kitchen is a program dedicated for students ages 12 to 19. Being a program that blends entrepreneurship with culinary arts skills, your child will have many unique opportunities by participating including designing custom recipes and gaining real-world experience in food service, operations, and financial management. Some of the things that you kid will learn include the following:
Career Readiness: Teens gain skills in cooking, teamwork, budgeting, and customer service.
Financial Empowerment: Youth earn income while learning profit-sharing and responsibility.
Low-Risk Entrepreneurship: Delivery platforms handle marketing, while the ghost kitchen model reduces startup costs.
Classes will be held at the restaurant Mrs. Linda’s Soul Food To-Go. They will take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5pm-7pm over a course of 4 weeks. Both online and on-site classes are available. The official launch date will be later in the summer so be on the look out for more information on how your child can register! We're looking forward to this exciting new way of continuing our goals of helping kids achieve their goals of starting their own business!
Teens develop and test recipes with guidance from professional chefs.
Meals are prepared in a shared commercial kitchen, minimizing overhead.
All orders are fulfilled through Uber Eats and DoorDash, streamlining marketing and logistics.
